Story of pastor Billy Chatman Jr.
Pastor Billy and Lady Nicci are high school sweethearts that have been married for 30 years. They first met at Cooper High School in Abilene, Texas due to their parents being in the military stationed at Dyess Air Force Base. Pastor Billy first received the Holy Spirit at the babysitter’s house in Augusta Georgia in July of 1982. Lady Nicci received the Holy Spirit in 1992 at Christ Temple Christian Life in Louisville Ky after being baptized in Jesus name by their late Spiritual Father, Bishop Michael E. Ford, Sr. Billy & Nicci have two adult children Billy III and Reonna Chatman.
Pastor Chatman preached his first sermon at the age of sixteen at Faith Deliverance COGIC in Abilene, Tx. He did not accept the call to ministry until the age of twenty at Christ Temple Christian Life Center of Louisville, Kentucky under the Leadership of the late Bishop Michael Eugene Ford Sr. As his ministry began to develop God elevated him to the position of Youth Pastor at Praise Covenant Church (New Albany, Indiana). After serving six years as Youth Pastor, Pastor Chatman was forced to retire from the Louisville Fire Department due to being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Pastor Chatman retired as a Captain after fourteen years of service. However, he continues to walk in the miraculous healing of Jesus Christ. He does not have any signs of ever being diagnosed with this debilitating disease.
Through dreams and visions, the Lord began to deal with Pastor Chatman about the call to Pastor while he was a Captain on the Fire Department. After much prayer, in October of 2005, he finally submitted to the call and began to birth the Temple of Deliverance Worship Center. The Chatman’s started with humble beginnings at the West End Community Center. God blessed the ministry tremendously; the hand of God was on this church! In 2008 Pastor Chatman was appointed the position of Tri-State Youth President of the PCAF over Kentucky, Ohio, & West Virginia.
In 2011 Pastor Chatman conducted a 3-day revival in his hometown of Tampa FL. It was there in that revival that the Lord spoke to Pastor Chatman about starting a ministry in his hometown. He told God if this is true that his wife would be in full agreement. When he got back to Louisville, KY and revealed to his wife what the Lord had spoken to him. His wife responded in full agreement and asked “When are we moving”?
Pastor Chatman was ordained to the position of District Elder in 2013 by the PCAF. On July 1st, 2013, Pastor Chatman & Lady Nicci moved to Tampa, Florida. Upon arrival to Tampa, FL the Chatmans immediately sat under the tutelage and covering of their spiritual Father, Bishop Aubrey Shines of G2G Ministries. Shortly after that, The Kingdom of Deliverance Worship Center was opened.
In 2014 Pastor Chatman and his wife birthed “Natural Bourne Leaders Academy”, which is a mentoring program for young men, women in addition to adults. In the year of 2022 God laid it on the heart of Pastor Chatman to start an evening service for people who are not able to attend church as usual on Sunday mornings. After much prayer & being released by my spiritual father, Bishop Aubrey Shines “ The Revival Center” was birthed. Pastor Chatman has the heart of a servant and loves to serve the community.
